Adani Enterprises plans to raise Rs 800 crore through NCD issue

Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the Adani Group, has announced the launch of its maiden public issuance of secured, rated, listed redeemable, non-convertible debentures (NCDs).

The Issue will open on 4 September 2024 and close on 17 September 2024, with an option of early closure or extension.

NCD issue includes up to 80 lakh NCDs of face value of Rs 1000 each. The base issue size is Rs 400 crore, with an option to retain over-subscription up to an additional Rs 400 crore (Green Shoe Option) aggregating to total issue size of up to Rs 800 crore.

The NCDs are available in tenors of 24 months, 36 months and 60 months with quarterly, cumulative and annual interest payment options across eight series.

An effective yield (per annum) for the NCD holders in all categories of investors ranges from 9.25% to 9.9%.

The NCDs issue has been rated CARE A+, Positive by CARE Ratings.

The minimum application size for each application for NCDs would be Rs 10000 across all series collectively and in multiples of Rs 1000 thereafter. Allotment is on First Come First Served Basis.

NCDs are proposed to be listed on BSE and NSE.

The proceeds from the Issue will be utilized primarily towards the prepayment or repayment, in full or in part, of the existing indebtedness availed by our Company (at least 75%) and general corporate purposes (up to 25%) in compliance with the SEBI Regulations.
