Wall Street turns green

US equities maintained a constructive posture on Tuesday as investors monitored a pullback in crude oil prices, although a guarded sentiment prevailed in anticipation of the US monetary policy decision scheduled for Wednesday. The S&P 500 advanced on positive sentiment surrounding semiconductor equities. The index increased 0.6% to conclude trading at 7,722.60, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average registered a gain of 15.99 points, equating to 0.03%, to close at 52,377.57. The Nasdaq Composite appreciated by 1.18% to settle at 26,477.81
