TVS Srichakra Limited faces Rs 10.71 lakh penalty from Uttarakhand tax office over e-Way Bill issue

TVS Srichakra Limited announced that it received an order on October 5, 2026, from the Office of the State Tax Officer in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, related to the detention of a vehicle transporting goods. The order stems from proceedings initiated due to an inadvertently rejected e-Way Bill, resulting in the movement of goods without a valid e-Way Bill. Consequently, the company has been assessed a penalty of Rs 10.71 lakh, and is currently evaluating legal remedies, including a potential appeal. TVS Srichakra Limited stated that it does not anticipate a material impact on its operations as a result of this order.
