NBCC (India) bags order worth Rs 1,363 cr

HSCC (India), a wholly owned subsidiary of NBCC (India), secured two significant orders from the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Government of India. The first order, valued at Rs 642.69 crore, is for the construction of an additional 500 beds (increasing the bed capacity from 650 to 1150 beds) at the ESIC medical college and hospital in Faridabad. The second order, worth Rs 679.79 crore, is for the construction of a 500-bed ESIC hospital in Manesar (Gurugram), Haryana. Both projects will be executed on a deposit mode basis.

In addition, NBCC (India) has won three orders totaling Rs 41 crore from the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha. These projects include the upgradation of an ashram school to a high school in Dhansuli, Kalahandi (Rs 15 crore), the upgradation of a high school to a higher secondary school (art stream) in Dhamanpur, Kalahandi (Rs 22 crore), and the construction of a hostel at Bijay Kumar Academy, Government High School, Soharia, Bograi, Balasore (Rs 4 crore).

NBCC (India) is in business of operates into three major segments namely project management consultancy, real estate and engineering procurement & construction.

The company's consolidated net profit jumped 39.2% to Rs 104.62 crore in Q1 FY25 as compared with Rs 75.14 crore in Q1 FY24. Net sales increased 10.7% YoY to Rs 2118.68 crore in Q1 FY25.

Shares of NBCC (India) dropped 6.14% to Rs 96.25 on the BSE.
