L&T Finance Ltd consolidated sales up 4.21% on year in Q1FY2026, net profit saw a mild growth of 9.64%

L&T Finance Ltd share price ticked higher by 2.69% to Rs 314.7 after the company's net profit saw a marginal increase of 9.64% to Rs 809.16 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 4.21% to Rs 4771.03 crore in Q1FY26 over Q4FY25. The market capitalization of Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 17.07 lakh crore, gaining 7.10%. It has softened by 0.70% over last one week and soared by 15.20% in last one month while the market capitalization of L&T Finance Ltd has inched up 2.78% and 17.88% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of L&T Finance Ltd stood at Rs 1073.92 crore in Q1 FY26, expanding by 33.32% year-on-year, and easing 8.24% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1134 crore, surging by 35.35% YoY and rising 5.80% sequentially. Total expenses grew marginally by 3.83% to Rs 3697.18 crore in Q1FY26 over Q1FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 659.72 crore, inching up 1.51% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 12.49% to Rs 17913.67 crore, while net profit improved by 12.84% to Rs 2982.87 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 366647% to Rs 4229.65 crore, and PBT expanded by 14.52% to Rs 3998.17 crore compared to previous TTM. L&T Finance Ltd jumped 49.57% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 4.36% during the same period.
