India Ratings & Research assigned a BWR AAA rating to Motilal Oswal’s Tier II Bonds valued at Rs 500 Crore

Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd announced several rating actions and assignments across various instruments and agencies, including an upgrade of its Long-term Credit rating from IND AA/Positive to IND AA+/Stable by IND; India Ratings & Research has assigned a BWR AAA rating to its Tier II Bonds amounting to Rs 500 Crore, classifying them as Senior Secured Debt, and upgraded Non-Convertible Debentures (“NCDs”) (271.60 and 727.00), Bank Loan Facilities (Rs 400.00), Commercial Papers (Rs 11,750.00), NCDs, Bank Loans, and Commercial Paper (CPs) to IND AA+/Stable, while affirming Commercial Papers at IND A1+; India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) upgraded Non-convertible debentures (interchangeable with principal protected market-linked debentures) to IND AA+/Stable (2,100), upgraded Bank loan facilities to IND AA+/Stable (21,500), and affirmed Commercial Paper at IND A1+, alongside withdrawing a Commercial Paper rating of 1,000; placeholder ratings were also assigned by BWR for Tier II Bonds (Rs 100000000, BWR A1+), Perpetual Debt Securities (Rs 50000000, BWR AAA), and Working Capital (Rs 25000000, BWR A2), and a Compensated Rating of AA (Stable) was assigned to Long Term Debt (Rs 500 Crore) and A1+ (Stable) to Commercial Paper (Rs 100 Crore).
