ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd consolidated sales up 62.42% on year in Q1FY2026, net profit jumped 61.15%

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd share price declined by 0.22% to Rs 461.0. The Company's net profit surged by 61.15% to Rs 623.91 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 62.42% to Rs 19180.08 crore in Q1FY26 over Q4FY25.


The market capitalization of Life Insurance industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.94 lakh crore, nosediving by 16.46%. It has softened by 2.01% over last one week and dipped slightly by 6.75% in last one month while the market capitalization of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd has slipped by 5.10% and 6.42% in the same period respectively.


Profit before tax (PBT) of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd stood at Rs 281.34 crore in Q1 FY26, plunging by 52.96% year-on-year, and tumbling by 43.52% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1790 crore, crashing by 871.32% YoY and tanking 281.89% sequentially.


Total expenses tumbled by 82.17% to Rs 3939.68 crore in Q1FY26 over Q1FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 470.24 crore, inching up 3.20% YoY.


For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 8.63% to Rs 51335.63 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 35.63% to Rs 1607.89 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 43645% to Rs 1197.68 crore, and PBT dipped slightly 1.45% to Rs 1558.9 crore compared to previous TTM.



ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd crashed 21.76% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 9.45% during the same period.
