Economic Buzz: Japan exports dip for fourth straight month

Japanese exports fell 0.1% year on year, compared to a 2.6% fall in July. The exports have dipped for a fourth straight month. The country's imports also marked a decline of 5.2%, compared to the 7.4% contraction in July. Japan's trade deficit widened sharply from 118.4 billion Yen to 242.5 billion Yen in August.
