MCX Gold crashes around Rs 1000 per 10 grams in intraday moves

MCX Gold futures tanked nearly Rs 1000 per 10 grams in intraday moves today as COMEX Gold failed to sustain ahead of the US nonfarm payrolls data. The metal fell from one week high in global markets and currently trades at $3340 per pound, down 0.60% on the day. MCX Gold futures are off 0.86% at Rs 96556 per 10 grams with break under 96K triggering a hefty collapse. Firm INR is also weighing on local futures.
