Natural Gas under heavy selling, Crude Oil down 0.28%

MCX Crude Oil futures are in negative territory today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Nov-26 contract is slightly lower by 0.28% at Rs 9285 per barrel. US equities are slightly higher with NASDAQ Composite is modestly higher by 0.97% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 9533 per barrel today and have recorded a strong rise of 6.79% in open interest. MCX Crude oil moving down for third consecutive session. The counter slipped by 0.19% in the day session till 6.00 PM.

MCX Natural Gas is substantially lower by 4.80% at Rs 270 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 268-284 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter slumped 10.98%.

Crude Oil has gained around 4.76% in the last one week while Natural Gas has tumbled 9.52%.
