Natural Gas significantly lower, Crude Oil down 1.08%

MCX Crude Oil futures are under selling pressure today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Oct-26 contract is lower by 1.08% at Rs 8815 per barrel. US equities are slightly lower with NASDAQ Composite is inching down 0.21% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 9125 per barrel today and have registered a sharp 4.60% reduction in open interest. MCX Crude oil is lower for third consecutive session. The counter rose by 1.18% in the day session till 6.00 PM.

MCX Natural Gas is sharply lower by 2.37% at Rs 293 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 292-304 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter rallied 10.73%.

Natural Gas has added around 3.56% in the last one week while Crude Oil has risen around 0.85%.
