MCX Zinc up 0.90%, Copper trades slightly lower

MCX Copper futures are are in negative territory, lower by 0.14% at Rs 1403 per kg right now. The counter was slightly higher by 0.10% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday low of Rs 1408 per kg today and have seen a modest decline of 0.42% in the open interest. US equities are modestly lower with NASDAQ Composite is trading slightly lower by 0.12% on the day.MCX Copper is declining for fourth consecutive session.


In other metals, Zinc is slightly higher by 0.90% at Rs 420 per kg, Lead is modestly higher by 0.52% at Rs 192 per kg, Aluminium is slightly lower by 0.94% at Rs 343 per kg while Nickel is marginally lower by 0.72% at Rs 1571 per kg.


Copper is down around 1.10% in the last one week followed by MCX Zinc, losing around 0.82%.
