MCX Zinc up 0.81%, Copper stays well supported

MCX Copper futures are are trading on a positive note, up 0.38% at Rs 1418 per kg right now. The counter was marginally higher by 0.46% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures rose to an intraday high of Rs 1420 per kg today and have recorded a 0.05% uptick in the open interest. US equities are edging lower with S&P 500 is modestly lower by 0.48% on the day.MCX Copper is moving higher for fourth consecutive session.


In other metals, Aluminium is modestly higher by 0.83% at Rs 357 per kg, Zinc is slightly higher by 0.81% at Rs 428 per kg, Nickel is modestly higher by 0.03% at Rs 1611 per kg while Lead is up 0.03% at Rs 197 per kg.


Copper has risen around 2.93% in the last one week followed by MCX Zinc, up around 1.96%.
