Gold rises steadily, Silver up 0.59%

MCX Gold futures are trading with gains today. The benchmark Dec-26 contract is firmer by 1.46% at Rs 150999 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 149515-151094 per 10 grams.The counter has plunged 3.82% over last one-week.

Silver is higher by 0.59% at Rs 226790 per kg. The open interest in the counter moved higher by 0.71% to 17111 lots.

In global equities, US markets are set for a positive start. DOW futures risen slightly 0.29%. In Europe, FTSE 100 edged up 0.09% and DAX Performance Index slipped 0.38%.

MCX Copper futures are up 0.34% at Rs 1407 per kg.
