Crude Oil strengthening, Natural Gas down 0.95%

MCX Crude Oil futures are in the green today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Oct-26 contract is trading higher by 1.34% at Rs 8794 per barrel. US equities are modestly higher with NASDAQ Composite is modestly higher by 0.95% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8810 per barrel today and have seen a sharp decline of 6.25% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is higher for third consecutive session. The counter soared by 1.59% in the day session till 6.00 PM.

MCX Natural Gas is lower by 0.95% at Rs 291 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 286-295 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter rose sharply by 15.44%.

Crude Oil has risen around 0.40% in the last one week while Natural Gas has edged lower by 1.67%.
