Copper up 0.09%, MCX Zinc stays well supported

MCX Copper futures are are in positive territory, moving up by 0.09% at Rs 1403 per kg right now. The counter was marginally lower by 0.26% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday high of Rs 1412 per kg today and have seen a modest decline of 0.56% in the open interest. US equities are edging higher with NASDAQ Composite is up 1.05% on the day.MCX Copper is higher for two consecutive session.

In other metals, Lead is modestly higher by 0.52% at Rs 192 per kg, Zinc is down 0.86% at Rs 416 per kg, Aluminium is down 0.80% at Rs 340 per kg while Nickel is down 0.13% at Rs 1562 per kg.

MCX Zinc is up around 0.60% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is down around 1.59%.
