Copper down 0.55%, MCX Zinc trades slightly lower

MCX Copper futures are are trading on a weak note, down 0.55% at Rs 1391 per kg right now. The counter was marginally higher by 0.39% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures slipped to an intraday low of Rs 1401 per kg today and have registered a sharp 3.48% reduction in the open interest. US equities are firm with NASDAQ Composite is rising 1.13% on the day.MCX Copper is lower for two consecutive session.

In other metals, Nickel is up sharply by 2.34% at Rs 1540 per kg, Aluminium is marginally lower by 0.32% at Rs 325 per kg, Zinc is down 0.32% at Rs 423 per kg while Lead is trading slightly lower by 0.10% at Rs 195 per kg.

MCX Zinc has risen around 1.90% in the last one week followed by Copper, down around 1.28%.
