HFCL Ltd rose 4.06% today to trade at Rs 259.95. The BSE Telecommunication index is up 0.99% to quote at 3711.04. The index is up 0.97 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Sterlite Technologies Ltd increased 3.84% and Optiemus Infracom Ltd added 2.12% on the day. The BSE Telecommunication index went up 29.85 % over last one year compared to the 11.35% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
